Hello disc golf enthusiasts and supporters of a great cause! We're thrilled to announce the return of the Fight Type 1 Diabetes Fundraiser Doubles Tournament. After a successful inaugural event, we're back for the second year, and we're aiming to make it bigger and better!

Mark your calendars for August 17th, 2024. We're starting the check-ins at 9 AM this year, so be ready to bring your A-game bright and early!

A Day of Fun and Competition

This is a casual “bring your own partner” doubles event, where we'll be playing best-shot doubles, using a shotgun start. But that's not all! We're also bringing back the Poker Run and the Ace Run Challenge, each for a $5 participation fee.

In the Poker Run, you'll be given a special scorecard and a card draw upon checking in. As you complete holes 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, and 18, you'll draw additional cards. With 7 cards in hand, your challenge is to make the best 5-card hand. And if you or your partner hit an ace during the round, we'll give both of you a Joker!

The Ace Run Challenge is all about precision and skill. You'll throw from an alternate tee location to the designated basket, aiming to hit an ace. An ace grants you 5 points, hitting chains will award 3 points, and you'll get 1 point for hitting any other part of the basket with your throws. The player with the highest point total after all the holes will be the winner. The $5 fee grants you 5 attempts, and you can purchase more attempts at $1 per attempt.
